What you do on the trail matters, but who you ride with is what we all remember. If you love off-road riding and want to share it, KAYO is for you.

The KAYO story begins with our founder, David Jiqiang Dai, and his passion for off-road motorcycles. After studying automotive engineering he worked at Zundapp and then Honda, training at Honda's Kumamoto factory. That is where KAYO began.
The founding team sketches a 50cc children's pit bike. It becomes the KMB, which debuts at EICMA in Milan in 2001.
After the international debut, the founders return to Tianjin to build a company made for the long term.
KAYO's first fully owned factory opens in Jinyun County, Zhejiang, building a handful of models including the KMB.
The new KAYO racing team takes the best overall team score at the China Motocross Championship.
Partnership with China's national motorsport federation: a 110cc Junior Division and training camps to bring young riders into the sport.
KAYO returns to ATVs. Professional riders in New Zealand put them through a three-week test and praise their durability.
With global demand growing, KAYO starts building its new state-of-the-art factory.
For its 20th anniversary, KAYO opens a racing school and training facility for young riders.
A strong brand at home and abroad, available in over 60 countries, and still driven by a passion for off-road riding.

The KAYO story begins with our founder, David Jiqiang Dai, and his passion for off-road motorcycles. After majoring in automotive engineering, he gained expert knowledge working at Zundapp, then Honda and even trained at Honda's Kumamoto Factory. This period is the origin of KAYO.
The spirit of KAYO was born when our founding team first sketched the idea for a 50cc children's pit bike. Those sketches eventually would become our KMB, which debuted in 2001 at EICMA, the International Motorcycle Show, in Milan, Italy.
After KAYO's successful international debut, our founders returned to Tianjin to use their experiences and build a company with long-term success in mind. Deciding the right approach to management and how to build our technological capacity was not compromised.
The first KAYO fully owned and operated factory was established in Jinyun County, Zhejiang. Our small team produced only a handful of models, including the KMB.
KAYO formed its racing team and rose to national prominence after getting the best overall team score at the 2007 China Motocross Championship tournament. As a newcomer, we turned the heads of many new fans. We even received praise from the General Administration of Sports!
KAYO began its cooperation with the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China, the top off-road motorcycle organization in China, with the mission to get more young people involved with off-road motorsports. Together, we established the 110cc Junior Division in the National Off-Road Championship and co-sponsored training camps for kids to learn the fun and safety of pit bikes.
After a ten-year absence from our catalog, KAYO resumed the development and production of ATVs. Professional riders in New Zealand agreed to test our products with a three-week, comprehensive performance test. They were impressed and praised KAYO for the durability of our small and medium-sized ATVs.
As global demand for off-road racing and recreation vehicles bloomed, KAYO took another big step and began to build its new, state-of-the-art factory.
On the twentieth anniversary of being in business, we did what we do best: share our passion of off-road racing. The KAYO Racing School and Training facility was established to provide a space for young riders to learn and develop their skills.
Today, KAYO has a strong brand presence domestically and abroad, with our products available in over 60 countries. We always lead with our best foot forward, and our unquestioned passion for off-road riding cannot be contained. And we want to share that love with you.
